Eva Korae

Studied Furniture Restoration & Craftsmanship BA (Hons) and holds an MA in Furniture Design & Technology. Has been teaching in tertiary education since 2003 and in 2022 she was elected Assistant Professor at Cyprus University of Technology. She designs, makes and exhibits her own contemporary products in Cyprus and Europe. She is a graduate of Fab Academy (Fab Lab Amsterdam). She explores green ways of making through the re-introduction of pre-industrial techniques in contemporary systems of production. She is interested in design thinking methodologies and how they implemented to contribute to social change. She has been collaborating in the field of dance and theatre as a stage designer/ maker since 2005 and has travelled to international festivals with several works.
