Rania Iakovou

Rania Iakovou was born and raised in Limassol. She works as a philologist in secondary schools. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Greek Philology and a diploma in Text Editing and Proofreading from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has obtained two master's degrees in Classical Studies, at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, as well as a diploma in Naturopathy, at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), London. She is fluent in English and French and a fluent speaker of the Serbo-Croatian language.
She has participated in theater productions, as a researcher, text editor and translator. She has also participated in the creation of the short film Goodbuy, which has competed at the first PIFF Short Film Festival and deals with the refugee drama after the start of the Syrian. crisis. Along with that, in 2020, her first book, entitled 30, was released by Egokeros publications in Athens, while her second book is expected to be completed in 2024.
